New ledge!
A quick message to all spot users,
On Saturday we plan on making a new ledge!
Unfortunately after assessing the limestone blocks we'd previously planned to use they were found inadequate.
We're looking to get some funds together so we can try and purchase blocks that will be suitable plus any concrete and coping that will be needed.
I know money isn't always easy to come by, but we are only looking for around $10-$15 but if you do happen to have more please be generous as A couple of users have been left to cover the costs of the whole project.
Again if you have any money to put in for the previous round of building it would be
much appreciated if you could hang it to either Viv or myself, as it would more than likely go into this newly proposed ledge.
Also the condition of the spot isn't that great.
The rubbish situation is getting out hand and everytime i go there i seem to picking up bottle after bottle, packet after packet. There is a designated bin so please do use it, and if it is full please take the time to empty it and not leave it to someone else. It is upto the skaters of the spot to really band together and keep the place clean!
An occasional quick sweep does alot of good too.
I hate to be the Dad of the skate park but these issues did need to be addressed.
